Deb’s career has given her the unique experience of developing managers and leaders with both paid staff and hundreds of volunteers while leading and guiding start-up and turnaround organizations. She has groomed hundreds of leaders, networked with influential community leaders, led multimillion-dollar capital and annual campaigns, and developed partnerships amongst organizations. She has piloted new initiatives and programs and overseen teams to implement strategic plans to leverage the organization’s effectiveness.
Deb knows that listening to God and understanding and learning how to shape culture in organizations is key to organizational transformation. She holds a certificate in Organizational Development from National Training Laboratory (NTL), the first and leading Organizational Development Certificate program in the US and abroad. Deb harnesses the power of coaching in individual transformation by using her certification as an ICF Executive Coach and over 20 years experience in Spiritual Direction. Deb is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, with a B.A. in Communications and holds a Master’s of Divinity Degree from Luther Seminary in Minneapolis, MN. Her love for community is seen in her community service through serving on the board for the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses, her participation in chamber events, and continued leadership in schools, and the church.
