Deb came to us as a church in crisis. I truly was not sure that we were going to make it and that the school may have to close. Deb’s wisdom, knowledge, Christian heart and hard work were a literal gift from God. There is no question in my mind that the Holy Spirit brought her to us. Deb jumped into our culture with both feet. She was able to quickly assess where we were, where we needed to go and how we would get there. We were overwhelmed, but she inspired us to find our way. Deb has a wonderful ability to discern the right people for the right job and then give them guidance on doing it. Thankfully, we have a very sophisticated congregation. Deb identified the leaders and gave them specific tasks and goals. Deb worked with church members, school families, and the administration and staff to get the school back on track. She provided practical input on how to reach out to the community and market our special school.
